Counselling Services

Even the strong struggle.

I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating hardship, including sudden and complex health problems, grief and trauma, relational strain, and decision-making in high-stress situations.

Family Mediation

Conflict is hard to navigate.

I help families to move in healthy ways through challenges such as separation/divorce, conflicts between teens and parents and among adult siblings, and intergenerational communication.

Conflict Coaching

Conflict Resolution Skills can be learned.

I support my clients in learning skills, tools, and strategies for managing and resolving disputes on their own.

What is mediation?

Mediation is a process of conflict resolution in which an unbiased, third-party mediator facilitates a conversation between two or more people to help them resolve a dispute.

Mediators do not make decisions for you. Mediators establish and maintain a safe and confidential space for effective dialogue that helps participants reach an agreement on their own.

Benefits of Mediation

Financial: Mediation can save you money, as it requires less or no court time and can reduce litigation costs.

Emotional: Mediation gives you more control over the process and can be less stressful than going to court.

Relational: Through offering methods and opportunities for collaboration, mediation can foster more positive relationships.

Future: Mediation provides a process for making decisions and solving problems that can be returned to when uncertainties arise down the road.
